With a bonus of 21 points, Spirou Charleroi started the return match. Little could go wrong for the home team. After the weak first game, Kangoeroes Mechelen appeared on the pitch with a different attitude. The visitors quickly took a lead: 12-21.

Could Kangoeroes pull off a stunt? No. Charleroi did not let the gap widen. It took the lead at 32-31 and went to the dressing room with the smallest bonus: 42-41. After that, Charleroi controlled the game and the win and qualification were no longer in danger.

At Charleroi, six players finished in double figures. Tyrell Roberts was top shooter with 13 points, Quinten Smout managed 3 three-pointers. Mitch Lightfoot was the best player at Kangoeroes Mechelen with 11 points and 8 rebounds.

For the first time since 2020, Spirou Charleroi will play the cup final. Then the Carolos lost against Telenet Giants Antwerp. Charleroi's last cup victory dates back to 2009.
