Good result for Limburg United

Hubo Limburg United has forced a good position in the semi-finals of the Lotto Basketball Cup. It won the first game 77-64 against Stella Artois Leuven Bears. Limburg will start Sunday's return match with a bonus of 13 points.

Hubo Limburg United started the match like a whirlwind. Already led 22-5 in the first quarter. Leuven Bears faltered but, despite 10 ball losses in the first half, slowly got into the game. After halftime (46-34), the visitors approached 54-51. 

Limburg United responded, posting a 13-0 spurt to 67-51 and did not relinquish this lead. Final score 77-64. 

Myles Cale was top shooter at Limburg United. The American managed 23 points. Jonas Delalieux scored all his 13 points in the first half. Tyreke Key was the best shooter at Leuven Bears with 20 points and 3 three-pointers. Cody Riley finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
